Barcelona, Oct. 3: President of Montenegro, Filip Vujanovic, during the plenary session of the Meeting of Sant'Egidio "Living together in a time of crisis" called "not to isolate oneself in the past."

In Montenegro and elsewhere "the powerful sense of our history and identity should not result in isolation and remaining closed in the past. On the contrary, it must connect with other states and nations". Hearing these words, it's easy to think of the recent Balkan history.

Vujanovic has also addressed the global economic crisis, saying that it "can not be addressed only through economic measures" since it has "ethical and cultural roots".
