A Mexican priest, he founded the Centre 'Hermanos en camino' in 2007 to help migrants on their way to the USA. He works courageously in the regions through which one third of the 500,000 undocumented Central American migrants who cross Mexico each year trying to reach the United States pass. He has been threatened with death several times by the drug trafficking cartels, whose abuse and violence he boldly denounces.
