Director General A.D.G., DG ECHO - Eurpean Commission

He is the new Director General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations, DG ECHO of the European Commission.

As a professor, he has had a long career of action and study in development cooperation and integration. He has held various positions at the European Commission with responsibility for the Middle East, the Mediterranean and the EU Integrated Maritime Policy.
